Team news SWP is training today and Adel could be involved too, Adel trained on his dayoff last week and on saturday when we played at norwich.Neil was talking about him in a more sympathetic manor and blames his so called advisors for turning his head. When asked whether Joey's twitter rows were getting on his nerves he pointed out that this morning joey has tweeted that having spoken to 3 wise men he now loves everyone, but NW wouldn't confirm if he was one of the 3.
Come on! Get Taarabt back playing. We need the oomph factor - and a ****sight more than £8m (less 40%) from the eventual sale.
The way he was talking mate can see Adel involved tomorrow. He mentioned every time AT went away with morocco last season Adel would come back not quite right, and it would take a while to get him back on the straight and narrow.Sounds as though Adel has buckled down and trained hard.
I really hope so because even if it's only for a month or two would be great to see the best Adel can offer, I really want to see one of those rainbow flicks again
Would love to see Tarbs playing tomorrow and playing as we know he can. Perhaps the Phoenix may yet rise from the ashes...
It would be great to see Adel have at least one cracking match for the Rs in the top flight, and Iâd dearly love to see him score. If he starts he really needs to grab the chance to impress.
The sad thing is I think he's advisors are really letting him down, I think its so easy to forget after the season that he had last year that he is still only 22. Last season was his first full season with any club. He's a great talent and i have no doubt we wouldnt have gone up last year without him. Maybe it's time the older players in the squad players like Derry/Buz/Hill- who are playing in the Prem for the first time to make him see how lucky he is
Yes, Taraabt needs to play!! We have to try and win tomorrow so need our strongest 11. This team are well organised and are no mugs. We need Adels magic!
Just thinking exactly the same thing Northy. It goes without saying that NA is a class act but received really bad advice from his "brothers" when he was younger. Adel please note and beware.
QPR manager hits out at Taarabt’s advisors QPR manager Neil Warnock has taken another verbal swipe at Adel Taarabt’s advisors. Warnock has long been unhappy with people he believes are influencing the Moroccan, who was recently left out of Rangers’ first-team squad. With another transfer window approaching, Taarabt is yet again being linked with a number of high-profile clubs and the R’s boss believes the player needs to be guided carefully. Taarabt is set to return for QPR this weekend. “He’s still growing up and it’s hard for young lads when people put a lot of things in their minds,” said Warnock. “When he goes away with Morocco he has a lot of influences over there and it takes us a while to get him back on the straight and narrow when he comes back. “Like quite a few footballers, especially from abroad, you get a lot of people around him – a lot of alleged advisors. “I’ve said to Adel ‘I think if you were finishing in football next week, you might lose one or two of those advisors’. “I’ve said to him that wherever he goes – whether he stays here or goes in January or the summer – he’s still got to train and work for Adel Taarabt, not these people. “It’s not these people who’ll make a living for him. Adel will always be able to make money but I’ll be sad if he does just that, because I think he’s got great ability.” While Rangers were playing at Norwich last weekend, Taarabt was training by himself. He also trained while his team-mates had a day off on Wednesday, and Warnock is now minded to recall him. Taarabt is expected to play some part against West Brom on Saturday, when a victory could take QPR back into the top half of the table. “Hopefully this week has done him good and he can get back to playing well and helping to win games for us,” Warnock added. Can Warnock really blame these 'advisor's' for the fitness issues? Breathing through his fat arse every 2nd half?
The next few weeks are "make or break" for AT at Loftus Road. If he can get back something of the form he showed at times last year then he could do a good job for the Rs. It's a case of wait and see. Fingers crossed.
QPR boss says Taarabt needs to make his own decisions - QPR - London 24 Adel Taarabt QPR boss says Taarabt needs to make his own decisions Friday, December 2, 2011 2:25 PM Warnock concerned that advisors having too much of a say QPR boss Neil Warnock has urged Adel Taarabt to concentrate on football and not to listen too much to those around him. The midfielder was linked with a move to PSG in the summer and after the transfer failed to materialise, he has struggled to make an impact in the Premier League. “It would be easy to toss him to one side, but I have a lot of time for him and he is a lovely lad,” Warnock said. “Like quite a lot of professionals in the game, especially those from abroad, they get a lot of people around them or what I call ‘advisors’. “As I said to Adel, if you finish in football next week you might find you lose one or two of those ‘advisors’. “But that is life, that is growing up and he is honest for a young lad. “It is hard for him when people put a lot of things in his mind. “I have said to him that whatever happens, whether he stays here, goes in January, goes at the end of the season, that he has to work and train for Adel Taarabt, not these people. “They won’t make him better and I think it is a shame. “Adel can always make money 3/8 but he is better than that. I will be sad if he ends up going to make some money because I think he has great ability.” Taarabt was left out of last week’s squad against Norwich, but is likely to be involved when West Brom visit Loftus Road this weekend. iReader
For ****'s sake give him a break Northy!! It sounds like he's been doing what many on here have been asking him to do.....training hard and trying to improve his fitness. He trains when everyone else has a day off, yet still you get on his back!! I've said for a while that a lot of Adel's problems are due to outside factors. Some of it is down to his own personality, but some isn't!! I really hope he plays tomorrow and shows us what he can do!
