On a scale of 1 to 10. How do we (LCFC fans only) rate NP so far ?

I´m at 8. Reason, he´s come in & had to sort out a team that... well was´nt a team really. He´s only had a Jan transfer window so not much time to get 'his' players in, very happy with Drinkwater as as signing though. Gave SStL & JB a kick up the :emoticon-0172-mooni & got them playing like they want to play for LC & has made our DEF alot better.
Only prob is the results have been abit up & down & we are 12th in the lge. If we stay in the NPOWER I can only see our results & position being a hell of alot better next season with some very good players coming in.

Nigel has sorted everything since he came back to the club, the players are now fighting for the shirt, no one is cruising along like they was before. Beckford isnt being lazy and he has carefully brought in players to add to what we already have.

The only thing is some of the results havent been good enough but the past 6 game things have looked alot better

    8.5 out of 10

Apart from a blip in December at home, he couldn't have done better! 9/10

Glad that the team is settling and the new signings are working out so well.

I feel NP has done very well Let's not forget that this is the second time he has arrived here and had to sort all the crap out. If we don't make it this year then I believe next season will be successfull

If we beat Norwich and then Derby people will be saying play offs again. Then we will lose the next game and we will be useless again

As i said, we need to win as many games as possible and see where it takes us

    I give 7.

I think Nigel Pearson needs a squad in his image to do well. So far, he hasn't got that and he really needs a summer to do that. It's always hard to build a team in January and so maybe it would have been unrealistic to expect him to turn it around completely because the fact is that the squad built by Sven is not as good as most of us thought it was and Nigel's been left to pick up the pieces.

There are few managers, like MON, who can go in straight away and wave a magic wand and turn things around. I always say that a manager should have a summer transfer window before he's judged properly and I think given that time, NP will do well for us.

Two big pluses though is that he's got Beckford playing and working and he's signed a creative midfielder in Drinkwater that we needed.

Maybe he should have got us to be more solid than we currently are because we seem to have a bit of a soft centre still (although nowhere near as bad as it was under Sven) and we don't have the ability to grind out wins which is something we specialised in last time he was here.

But, as I said, given time, I back him to get it right. I just hope the owners give him time.

Was listening to the game last night and afterwards some guy whose name I can't remember came on demanding that Pearson be sacked and someone else brought in because we were 5 points off the playoffs when he came in and now we are 9 points off and the team hasn't really improved since Sven.

    What do you all say?

maybe in a more sober light, my rating of 5 for NP last night was a bit harsh, we have improved to some degree, in regard to the fact we get the ball forward alot quicker, and create more chances, but we are still so weak in midfield, that it is always gonna be difficult for us to win games, we get overun and bossed in the middle, that in turn puts pressure on and already dodgy mills................

We've had games where we should have won, last night being a prime example.

Others include Donny away, Barnsley at home, Peterborough at home, Ipswich at home and Portsmouth at home.

If we'd have won those games we'd be 12 points better off and thinking about automatics.

However he's done about as well as he could with the team he's got that really was hastily put together by Sven.
