    Meanwhile, in the Sky Bet Football League, we are hearing reports that two clubs have put in official bids for Wigan forward Nouha Dicko, although there are at least five teams chasing the young Frenchman, including Rotherham, Bristol City, Bradford, Bournemouth and Millwall.

    We have a fantastic record with foreign signings over the past few years, so I'm surprised that we haven't taken advantage of the market. At this level, I think a few cheap signings from abroad could greatly improve our luck.

    Could be right - I read in a book that players go to certain clubs because they have a reputation for supporting their players come what may (hope he does not speak to Fonts!!)
