Apparently Nouble skipped around 3 from the half way line, and smashed into the top corner!

Would it be worth recalling Frank in Jan / terminating the Sammon loan deal? Would save us quite a bit on wages and potentially Frank may have stepped up somewhat? 4 goals in 8 ( yes okay lower level ) is a decent start.

Also, all the people who kept slating Mick about Marriott " he SHOULD be in the squad, he SHOULD be getting minutes " is going through a purple patch of ZERO goals in seven games at present................

Frank Nouble somehow is ONLY a young 23 year old still. Could he possibly warrant a further opportunity with us this season, as 10/20 minute squad player in a role Sammon has been handed? Not saying he's immense or anything but could save us decent wonga and you never know. I'm siding with them days are done though!

I wonder what level Marriott will end up playing.

I think Sammon whilst not the best technically has actually contributed a fair amount since he's been here. His work rate and movement are exceptional, he makes runs that none of our other strikers make which give us more options on the ball. For all of Murphy and McGoldricks good points they can be fairly static upfront

I'd rather we invested in a striker in January, think it's probably the area we need strengthening most

I would not want Nouble back, as PTC said The fish does a lot of unshellfish work off the ball, either keep Sammon or get someone else in during the window, Frank is playing in the level of football that matches his ability!

Notice how Nouble came off the bench to score the goal, so he's not even being a regular at that level. We could certainly do with someone with pace upfront though, a player that can stretch defences, someone who can get in behind the defence because at the moment we don't really have that, although Sammon has doen this to a certain extent.
