For those that were at the game.........
    How did these two play?
Sounded like Nouble was a threat and that a lot of good things going forward came through Hewitt.
Alex Mathie has already suggested that Hewitt could be used at right wing, does anyone else think that he has what it takes to play there?

I wasn't at the game but again like Cresswell I don't think Hewitt is a winger. But given how McCarthy plays you would imagine Stearman would come back in, so I geuss for the time being he could be a possibility on the right of midfield, not for the long term though!!

Gareth Bale wasn't a winger when he was young either. Could be a decent long term replacement for Carlos.

I agree both Cresswell and Hewitt could be effective as wingers, but would rather see them develop in there 'chosen' position until we are safe to tinker and experiment. Think Murphy should have come on instead of McClean today, but happy with a point and the twitter commentary sounded positive. One game closer to safety.

How well did Tabb do on his debut?

Brenner was saying that he was having a great game and was unlucky not to score.

All the debutants played well. Nouble put himself about and was a constant physical threat. Hewitt was assured and confident but was caught out a couple of times in the first half. Tabb was the biggest surprise for me didn't really expect much from but was very good, looked tiny though.

Nouble’s first 3-4 touches were garbage, he hit the post from 20+ yds. after that he looked much better.
Hewitt took time to find his feet but as at Villa grew into the game & did well both defensively and getting forward.

For me we were better in the middle of the park today, all four did well but the pick was probably Hyam, he had a good game today.
Tabb looks industrious and contributed well from back to front.

MOM......probably Smith, looking nailed on for player of the season.!
