Seeing as none of our squad are good enough to be selected for the official PoTY shortlist, what say we choose one of our own?

Surely, the ones that'll come out on top will be:

    Matthews
    Wanyama
    Ledley

    I'll opt for Matthews <ok>

Trouble is that a lot of players were good in one half of the season and not for the rest of the season - Commons, Wilson, Hooper, Izzy all fall into that category.

Of course, I haven't mentioned big Forster - he's been fairly consistent but not outstanding enough for a keeper to be nominated for POTY

I didn't think he'd played enough games to be included.

I don't think Lustig has played many more than him if any more at all (note to self: re-visit sentence structure here <ok>)

I've picked Commons, then, simply because his performances in the early part of the season got the points on the board.

I might've picked Ledley but, again, for too much of the season, he wasn't first pick to play in the midfield.

    Cannae edit polls I'm afraid.

I included Lustig because he's improved so much this season compared with his first half season.

I think it's fair to assume then that everyone voting for KFC is only doing so because Matthews isnae on the list.

The Welsh fullback is creaming it so far <ok>

Samaras got all the important goals and only had one bad game when he played.
