Hi Guise does anybody on the PL board partake in games of chance namely, Poker?

If so do you fancy a game with like minded 606ers?

If you do, some of GC regulars have got a private school going on the Pokerstars site.

Interested? Then come to the GC
board where there is a dedicated thread where you will be able to access all the relevant information.

    Or PM Der Kaiser.

Are you playing cash games or a tournament?

If the former, what level of blinds?

    .....and I take it, it's Texas hold'em

It's hold em with a $20 buy in. Be tournament games with top 20% pay out. At the moment we have 4 signed up and added to the room.

Was supposed to be tomorrow night but some of those who said they would play have shat out.

No rebuys or add ons. If we get 9 or 10 for a full table that could be a couple of hours play.

My daughter got Junior Monopoly for her birthday. Her, the lad and myself play it every weekend. It's a great way to teach them about money and owning property. They're only 15 and 17 years old. They think you can buy a property in Mayfair for 5 Monopoly $.

    I don't play poker.

I play junior monopoly, great game.

You have to buy the property if you land on it, which can be a bitch as I don't like the brown squares.

That's the beauty of the game, if you land on brown you have to buy it, you may not want to but read the rules mother ****er, as I say to my kids when they land on brown.

Have you ever tried playing on after the first person is bankrupt (for the uninitiated, the rules state that the game ends when the first person is bankrupt)? It goes on forever.

I may look into taking up poker.
