Can you give us your ratings for players and review please Spanish as I couldn't make the game so I can't really make an educated assessment as to how we really performed.
You definitely have some valid points and you know what I think about Micks limitations, well not so much limitations but he holds himself back and sometimes lacks intent but lets not throw the baby out with the bath water, we're only 2 points off the playoffs still. This is a bit of a problem with how we play if we don't pick up as many points as we think we should, it seems 10 times worse because of how we play but ultimitely we've played poorly and picked up a point. I read something that Barry Ferguson said that he will go into every match trying to win the game and have a go at the opposition, this is what I want to see unfortunately I think Micks mantra of 'don't get beat' is a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy sometimes. All teams have bad games where you have to see a game out and dig deep sometimes but I don't want to see that as a style of play as it were. We've got some decent players in CM for this division, none of them are bad players the problem is they're all of a similar ilk, we need some diversity in the team. Our most creative player is our LB who is currently abit out of form, and really our LB should not be the most creative player in our team.
TBF to MM he is managing ITFC with one arm tied behind his back, zero budget for transfers, and not much more for player wages. This is the way MM knows how to play & get the best from his squad. It was painful to watch today, Spanish, count yourself lucky you did not have to watch it.!

I can't say I was impressed by MM's choice of starting midfielders today, I'm not sure what he thought he would gain from naming three central players in a 4-4-2. Having said that though we are still in the top ten and I am happy with that.
Valid posts all. It's great being hard to beat. It's half way to being genuine contenders. But lets forget micks money limitations and concentrate on why we aren't finishing teams off. Spanish we do lack creativity, and that's been said on here for months and it frustrates us all. We've got a player in dids who can score at this level but who else. SEB when he's fully fit hopefully. Murphy chips in occasionally but we definately need the scoring creating midfielder to compliment dids. I like most of us would like to see mick just go balls out more often and go for 3 points and not settle for one.
Maybe once we are mathematically safe from the drop Mick might go all guns blazing or maybe he wants us to get a reputation as a solid team ready for next season.
Going on the post match interview it seems playing that midfield was to combat the diamond that Blackpool played, which I'm not going to lie infuriates me, we're at home just outside the playoffs and we're playing a team who haven't won a game since November yet we set out midfield out to combat theirs to stop playing first and foremost. That's not how I want my manager to go about things, I loved it in the days gone past where we just selected our best 11 and went for games, trying to impose our game on the opposition. For me that's where Jim went wrong when ME came in, he used to just put out his best 11 and try to win the game, then once ME came in he worried more about the opposition than playing to our strengths. I just think that sums Mick up though, first and foremost set the team up to stop the opposition playing and make sure our off the ball play is sound and then anything else on top of that is a bonus. Listen Mick has done a great job here but he doesn't half frustrate me sometimes
I think that's extremely unlikely, Mick is Mick it's his style, I can't see him changing it really no matter what the situation. Perhaps once we get better players we might get a bit more attacking creative but under Mick we'll never be known as a good footballing attacking side. We said this last season maybe once we're safe he'll start playing the youngsters and play more expansive football, has it happened ...?

The only good thing to come from the sheer **** you write on here, and lets be perfectly clear, it is absolute **** that gets most peoples backs up more often than not, is that myself and Warky actually AGREE on something and that happens once in a bluemoon.# Just support Barcelona/ Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. " That's a fair point, but they are hardly like a 1 year old who isn't getting their food for a split second about it. Other people are capable of being subjective. Something you have zero idea how to do. Yes, if you haven't guessed I have absolutely had quite enough of you appearing on this board. It's generally quite a happy place, with us trying to offer an insight into the team and get behind the boys. Not in your case, oh no. The hilarious thing, is if ( and this won't happen ) we went unbeaten from now, won the play offs, and lost the 11th game in the Premiership say 2-0 to Man Utd, that would be the first time Spanish would bother to post. There would be no well done, no I was wrong, none of that. Then it would be Mick's limitations, or something else. I'm off to bed............. ciao.............

Hard to beat is great. Best form of attack is defence and all that,just seems mick isn't getting the best out of our midfield and attack and we are dropping points where we shouldn't be. Very frustrating. Mick is more than capable of getting us up,from there I don't know but he's still the right man. Thank god those who called for holloway on here didn't have their way.
it was a **** game with no real redeeming feature BUT to be honest Spanish your posts are totally pointless to me as you only come on, act like a spoilt child (nah nah Im right lets gloat) and only post after games which only coincide with your viewpoint. I think 5 year olds could post better balanced posts than you under the MM regime.
