Following the FA Cup defeat to Premier League title chasers Liverpool at the end of January, Norwich have resumed second-tier matters in largely-impressive fashion, collecting four points from two contests against Coventry City and relegation-threatened QPR.
Watford's mini-slump at the beginning of 2024 is on the verge of becoming something more concerning, with the Hornets now six games without a win across the Championship and the FA Cup following a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Premier League-bound Leicester on Saturday afternoon.
Watford have reigned victorious in 10 of the last 16 clashes against Norwich over the past 14 years, and Ismael's men have won all three of the games between the sides since they were both relegated from the Premier League in 2022, including a 3-2 success at Vicarage Road in November.

    Team News

Norwich have potentially been dealt a major injury blow ahead of Tuesday night's clash, with leading goalscorer Jonathan Rowe sustaining a hamstring injury in the final stages of the match at QPR.

Striker Vakoun Bayo limped off after only a minute of Saturday’s home loss against Leicester, and although the extent of the hamstring problem is still to be seen, the head coach is confident he won’t be out for long.
“Edo Kayembe is back in the squad for Norwich and I think that is great news,” said Valerien Ismael.

“He made massive steps last week, and I think now he is more ready to be able to compete – not from the beginning, but at least he is able to help us.”

Stuart Atwell, who will be forever remembered by Watford fans for awarding the ‘ghost goal’ at Vicarage Road in 2008 is due to be in charge when the Hornets aim to get back to winning ways at Norwich City tomorrow night.

Neil Davies and Matthew Wilks are due to be the assistant referees, with Darren Drysdale the fourth official.

I came to the conclusion that my lucky Bordeaux, that sold out, was the real reason for our lack of a winning run. I found that the different source was not effective, so tonight will be trying what looks decent one from the Rhone valley.

Their selection on offer is very strange. I suspect some could be rebottled paint stripper.

We have found they have some very good wines at competitive prices. Recently they were selling Wirra Wirra Church Block which also stocked by the Wine Society. On a trip to France were in Lidl and a French bloke was buying cases of wine costing a few euros a bottle. We tried one ourselves and were not disappointed! Can't imagine a French bloke buying paint stripper!

I was given a bottle of Jameson's Irish whiskey yesterday. No matter how we play or what the final score is, I may be very merry by full time.

As a confidence booster, the U21s are leading 1-0 in their PDL match at QPR - who are top of the table. Our goal from Michael Adu-Poku.

A win today is really needed after a dodgy spell of results.
