Perhaps he should do what clubs like Brighton and Brentford do, replace them with better players ... ... he took advantage of a good squad and won the FA Cup but brought in some pretty ineffectual players.
Pretty much like Brentford and Brighton, the manager isn't the main driver in transfers. Leicester have a head of recruitment and director of football. This summer, they sold their club captain and £80m defender and bought in a defender on deadline day for £15m whilst pretty much every other club in the league was spending. He didn't take over when Leicester were champions. They'd finished 12th and 9th in their 2 previous seasons. In his 4 full seasons in charge before this one, they've finished 9th, 5th, 5th and 8th with an FA Cup win thrown in. That's a decent return for a club of Leicester's size, investing the amounts they do. This season though has been poor and they're probably right to move him on.
The Premier League between 12th and 20th is possibly the most exciting it has ever been. Any of them could go down.
Highest spenders in the league when it comes to wages and turnover. They've been overspending and now they're in a mess because of it.
WHU were not offside against Soton today ! 3 players were what a joke that is another fiddle going on for London teams. Talking about Plymouth we could be going there and Soton next season, two long journeys
Haven’t seen all of the game , but from what I have , don’t think our lads would be much worried by either West Ham or soton
You probably have a more balanced view mate, I just can't abide his smug patter tbh ... ... although in my defence, that squad is better than second bottom below Bournemouth, Forest, Palace, Wolves, etc.
Interesting that, at 92:55, Southampton get the ball forward and the ref blows his whistle. First time in ANY game I’ve ever seen a ref finish a game before the full amount has been played
