    to be honest by the sounds of it a lot of players were having a bad time at Villa. Morale can greatly affect a players game. Maybe he didn't wanna play football, at Villa. In interviews he's seemed a lot happier playing football (albeit, only in training...) at Newcastle.

    But still, he's on pay as you play anyway, so the fact he WANTS to be at Newcastle despite receiving little money shows something at least.

    If we snap him up in a cut price deal next season we shall see. I hope he comes back, and rediscovers his Man City form, and I honestly think he can do that at Newcastle.

    If he gets fit in the summer I think he's worth the gamble. He's only 24 and has all the talent in the world, if he gets anywhere near the fitness and form he had 2 years ago he'd be an absolute steal. Even if he doesn't he's better than Danny Guthrie, and probably less 'injury' prone.
