Spurs fan, here. Just came over to send my commiserations on the result today, but couldn't see anywhere sensible to post it, so I've started this.

Looks like Martin O'Neill's started to get things to his liking with your squad and you gave us a lot to think about early on.
The variation between Fletcher's hard work and battling up top, Larsson's crosses and set-pieces and Sessegnon's trickery will cause sides a lot of problems, I think.
Someone with a little bit more creativity in the middle would make you an extremely dangerous side going forward.

Took us quite a while to get on top in the midfield, which is an area that we've dominated in the last few games. Swansea, Villa and Stoke managed a total of 3 shots in target in our games.
Your goal may have been against the run of play, but Larsson's delivery was dangerous all day. I was a little surprised to see him make way for Wickham, but I guess you had to really go for it at the end.

Tough game. I think that you'll push on from here, to be honest.
Sorry to see your injury problems continue. Hope O'Shea recovers quickly <ok>.

We keep kidding ourselves that we are a mid table team then perform like that, he changes the team then look what happens, pathetic. The win over Man c means nowt now.

Ta for the comments. well done on your win, which was deserved. I've just made another post but basically, you're midfield is the best i've seen all season. cut through us with complete ease later in 1st half and then early 2nd half. with better finishers, that game would have been over and done a lot sooner. well spotted in that we need more quality in the middle, something we're all hoping for in January so we can kick-on.....good luck for rest of the season.

how can the win over Man City mean nowt? we were outplayed by the best midfield in the division, our weak point. they also outplayed stoke and swansea - 2 midtable teams above us - much more than they did us. grow some balls ffs, we lost to a v good team...

Give your head a shake man, two games in 3 days against the top 4 was always a tough ask. We are a mid-table team; look at what Spurs did to Villa the other night for a really poor side.

Looked a good effort to me by Sunderland against what looks a classy Spurs side. In truth Spurs should probably have scored more (Adebayor <laugh>) and put it to bed but I think they will hand out some real tonkings on the run in. Mignolet was again outstanding and kept it sensible. Such was his performance Sunderland still had hope of nicking something at the end.
