Whilst I think that maybe we are being rather stingy with the wages, I can't see the point in paying out £6m and £50k+/week (depending on what you read) for a player like Cole. It is not good business. Too many players are way overpriced and are demanding ludicrous wages. Once they are on these contracts many don't perform.
