  1. One thing is for sure - if they don't make the CL 50p pieces is all they will have left, and only a few of them at that. Not sure even Spurs fans realise just what a disaster awaits them if they don't make it.

The spuds have spent a lot of money trying to get cl football again and I don't think the likes of modric are going to stick around and wait to give them the chance to try again. Spurs are in no position to be replacing these types of player, with no money and no cl football - they are ****ed

Been saying for years Arry would ruin spuds. Every club he leaves then they go broke. Same will happen with spuds. A swelling wage bill, big transfer fees paid and an underperforming team is Arry's trademark.

Dark days lie ahead for spuds. The beauty of it is that they didnt even realise. None of them saw it coming. They still think they are fine but really they will be in trouble. Look at their wage bill! Grown so much!

  4. Pretty balanced article here:

    http://swissramble.blogspot.co.uk/2011/12/tottenham-grounds-for-optimism-or.html

What I see is a wage bill of £91m and revenues that will be around £120m. With other expenses they will likely make a loss of £20m in 11/12, which will continue next year with no CL money.

The only route for them, without CL money, is to trim wages, and/or sell players.

Basically spuds risked it all for the champions league and are going to come up short. Arry doesnt care though. He will be long gone when the **** hits the fan....

  6. That is correct - he will jump ship before the disaster. That is the very essence of the 'Redknapp Effect'

All very well, but Redknapp has nothing to do with our finances. Levy has got his hands on the finances and he is no Peter Storrie.

Spurs won't be in any financial trouble if they don't make the CL - even with a swollen wage bill, their owners are far too rich, Joe Lewis is a billionaire <ok>

Surely FFP would prevent Joe Lewis from pumping his own money into the club ???
