He has to start tomorrow night, he is our best striker technically. He nearly has it all... strength, power, pace, aerial ability and age is on his side. The one thing the lad is missing is confidence, he CAN finish, he just needs one to let the rest fly in! We must start him and get him to fulfil his potential!
Anyone who says Ranger cannot score just needs to look at the quality of the goals he has scored for the reserve and academy sides, as well as the few first team goals he has. He can score, he troubles defences and I think Andy Carroll leaving will give him a massive shot of confidence because he now knows he will get his chance. He doesn't have to play second fiddle to Carroll anymore, and is likely to get a lot more playing time. As soon as the first premierleague goal flys in, I'm sure the rest will follow.
As said below he is a great finisher at other levels, and you are either a good finisher or a poor finisher, no matter what level you're at. He just needs one and the rest will come!
