Maybe we can give Brownie back his gardening leave title to get round it?

Thanks for that! This situation is a proper 'dogs breakfast'! Needs clearing up so we can get someone with football expertise at the helm ASAP.

City Independent suggest that Mick McArthy is the owners favoured candidate - would maybe be tricky to get him, or anyone else on board with more legal guff pending?

Don't worry nishy, Tyger Tyger's being a bit of a dick here from the way I've read this thread. I think you've made some good points and have every right to do so.

For all those people whose entire argument on this subject hinges on the fact the Allams sunk 50 million into the club so can't be questioned, I've only got this to say...

I would too if I had that sort of money. I'd do it as a fan though, who wouldn't happily admit to knowing nothing about football... I wouldn't do it as a businessman. Why did they have to take charge of the club? If they wanted to pay off the club's debts as a gift to the city they could've given the club that money as a gift surely?

Back to the point, to fly off the handle at nothing and call you a tosser and a racist out of what was pretty much nothing makes me think Tyger Tyger's actually a Leicester fan in disguise... either that or one of the Allams... You better hope you don't find out you work for him nishy!

Poor fella seemed to go over the top a bit, anyway if he reads this no hard feelings. Hope he isn't an Allam in disguise! Cheers anyway, to be fair I've been a bit wound up by it today so probably shot my mouth off too much on here no doubt. As for the Allams, you have to question the reasons behind their investment now, and Nicky has directly come out and said he has done nothing wrong. I'm not sitting on the fence, for me it seems you can't have two guilty parties, somebody is right and somebody is wrong. My feeling is that Nicky is right, he certainly was no junior manager like Tyger Tyger implied and had every right to give his opinion on the club, he was a football manager and that's what they do, manage. Or maybe not in this case according to the other argument.

Yes, although it possibly needs to be under an alternative job title, it's no different to when Brown was on gardening leave.

Due to the nature of the case it wouldn't be a problem because even if Barmby won the courts would be unlikely to reinstate him, and would instead instruct the club to pay up the remainder of his contract (minus any earnings he's secured elsewhere in the mean time but plus legal costs).

I think you will find that it may not only be the lawyers that win in all of this....our owners have just agreed to Nige opening a new "Tiger Sanctuary" at our training ground, as we are expecting it to be filled with "Strays.... only the good ones though, no Runts !!
ON a serious note though, I cannot believe your owners are for real !
Starting to resemble a certain Milan Mandaric revolving door policy, which is well documented what that did to LCFC, he s h it on NP hence you gettin him & some of our better players !!
I personally thought that NB would take you back to the prem with his style of footie, ala Swansea City ?
Think some of these Owners of footie clubs do what they do as they are frustrated or bored with their computer games eg FIFA 2012 & its as close as they can get to the real thing.
"Daddy, Im bored of buying engines/generators, will you buy me a real Football Club ? Please Daddy, pretty please " "Ok son but we must run it like all our other businesses.....RUTHLESS !
All the best in your search for decent Manager & next season.
