If you read the initial post I wasn't slating of Proschwitz i was saying the problems lies with a lack of midfield creativity and the only 2 players we have of creating something is Aluko and Koren (+ Stewart on his day), so if we want to get the best out of him and Fryatt then we need either another creative central midfield player or a winger who can create something

'Im starting to get a bit worried about him now, I know I've only seen him in pre-season but he cant seem to win a header'

That's hardly a ringing endorsement and it's too early to be making such claims.

By getting worried about him I ment getting worried that the amount of money we spent on him will be wasted, as we have no one to give him service! And you cant say its too earlier to make these claims because no matter how good Proschwitz is he can't/won't score many goals as we have no one to provide for him, as was the case with Fryatt last year.

In Bruce's is press conference he mentioned Proschwitz will help Fryatt out, presumably he ment he will do this by winning headers and flicking it on for him and from the 180+ minutes or so I've seen of him hes probably only won about 10/20% of headers.

I hope I will be proved wrong on this but for now im still going to argue my case

Preseason games are meant for one thing and one thing only, fitness exercises. How easily did we beat Liverpool last year in preseason !!!, all the players treat them as a step up from training, but no more unless they are on trial and playing for their future, no one wants to get injured prior to the season starting, as yet we have not put out a full strength 11 which i anticipate SB will start the season with, unfortunately due to the niggles around at the moment this has hampered things. I would have anticipated that Fryatt and Prozzy would have started together a number of times by now to get the undertsanding going, I fully expect Aluko to be playing out wide come the start of the season feeding two strikers with a much stronger midfield in support. Far too earlier just yet to make a considered opinion of our league record signing I`m afraid so in the words of one Clive Dunn.. `Don`t panic Mr Manwainering`

You're more than welcome to argue your case, it's what forums are for.

Personally, I think Fryatt will benefit massively from having a big striker to play off and though I agree that the service needs to improve over last season, I think Aluko(and possibly other additions) will provide that service.

I didn't go last night, but I did go on Saturday and I think Prossy looks a very similar player to Big Jan of Hessleroad, I think he'll do fine.
