    Reading to Derby.

    according to BBC

Nick Blackman: Reading striker joins Derby County
Derby County have signed striker Nick Blackman from Championship rivals Reading for £2.5m on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

The 26-year-old, whose Royals contract was due to expire in the summer, has scored 13 goals in 28 games this term.

He leaves Reading after three years, having joined the then Premier League side from Sheffield United in 2013.

"We are delighted to bring one of the Championship's leading goalscorers to the club," said Rams boss Paul Clement.

"There has been a lot of interest in him so we're naturally happy that he has chosen to join us," he added.

"We've got a number of talented players in the attacking areas of our squad and Nick only enhances that."

The move sees Blackman reunited with Clement, the pair having previously worked together at Blackburn where Clement was an assistant coach.

Blackman is Derby's second January addition, following the arrival of Guinea international Abdoul Camara from French Ligue 1 side Angers on Monday.

Reading chief executive Nigel Howe said the the move was "the right thing for all parties concerned" having failed to reach a new contract with the player after five months of negotiations.

"This deal will also allow us the chance to potentially re-invest in the first team this month, helping the manager to bolster his squad should the right opportunities arise during the transfer window," Howe said.

    According to Derby FC

Derby County have today completed the signing of sought-after forward Nick Blackman.

We’ve got a number of talented players in the attacking areas of our squad and Nick only enhances that."
    Paul Clement

Blackman, 26, has joined Derby on a three-and-a-half year contract from fellow Sky Bet Championship side Reading for an undisclosed fee.

Capable of performing out wide or as a striker, Blackman is the club’s second signing of the January transfer window after the arrival of Abdoul Camara from French side Angers SCO on Monday.

The frontman has been in fine form in front of goal this season and has scored 13 times in 28 appearances in all competitions, as well having three assists to his name.

Hard for him to decline a move to a team likely to be playing in the Premiership next season, and probably getting a healthy pay rise and signing on fee too.

Don't worry we are trying to sign a 20 year old from a french club for the future.
What about dealing with the immediate problems.

Players that have snubbed us,players that could not get a game here have gone back to their respective clubs, and then gone back out to the competition in this league, all very sad me thinks.

players we have loaned out that we don't play getting rave reviews, players that left us for pastures new getting rave reviews.

Where is this club going, any suggestions:huh::huh::huh:

    Derby are going for it-

Derby County have completed the permanent signing of Tom Ince from Hull City. The 23-year-old winger, who had a spell on loan with the Rams last season, has agreed a four-year contract after the clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.

Sad to say, there are lots of very very unhappy fans out there.

Does this club deserve 5500 going to WBA on Saturday.

    3300 that went to Reading.

And i say once again the potential at this club with some success would be a full revamped Ashton Gate.

Next season it is going to be a white elephant in league one <wah><wah><wah>

nope went to Reading more important than a cup game, the club seems more happy we are taking 5500 fans to wba than the position they find themselves in the league.

Please don't tell anyone at our club that there are players actually available to get out there and that other teams have bought some of them. We are fast becoming a joke but I don't find the plot very funny at all and I fear that we are being insulted by the club many of us have supported for year and the worst part of all is the galling fact that they don't care much about anything and clearly have no idea how to re-arrange the deckchairs when the ship is sinking.

Mike don't confuse this thread as people avoiding us, Tom Ince was already there on loan I suspect most players would jump to be at Derby or Middlesborough this window given chance.
We was never even contemplating these players.
The thread may as well be Villa making signings etc
