Good morning all, it'll be interesting to see how the young Brazilian does tonight, the last time i saw him was at the olympics last year, i hope he plays in the premier league or la liga soon.

I hope we are in with a shout of getting him after the World Cup when he plans to come to Europe, but I fear that he will choose one of the Spanish giants, probably Barcelona who as good as they are now will be unplayable with Neymar and Messi combined.

I do think Neymar would be better off coming to us though, as he would instantly be our 'main man' whilst at Barca he would no doubt be playing second fiddle to Messi, as long as Messi is still in his prime.

he said England are a one man team (referring to Rooney) do you agree on this statement? because I don't
Yes rooney is by far the best striker in england, yet his contribution to england team in last 1-2 tournaments were not really that inspiring

Apart from the euros in 2004 he always seems to go into the tournaments with something hanging over him, it was an injury in 2006 and 2010, plus he was suspended in 2012.

I do feel the lack of quality in England's midfield over the past 10 years has also hindered Rooney, not 1 of them can string a pass together:biggrin:

totally agree .. he was very good in 2004, but for many reasons he was unlucky in the fellowing tournaments, and I think UTD crowded fixture, is one of the factors why he looked tired and unfit

The key point as well Shwan is when England rushed back in 2006 when he had that metertasal injury.

This, my dad travelled to Brazil quite a bit over the past 2 years or so for work. He's seen quite a bit of Neymar. Said he's outrageously talented but makes Saurez/Young/Hazard look like hard men.

Think he'll go with Madrid to replace Ronaldo!

Neymar is apparently the seventh wealthiest footballer in the world.

So IF he moves it'll be for mega mega money, and he will be on ridiculous wages. And he looks like he could have serious attitude issues, so I can't see us getting him to be honest.

Looks like he could be a brilliant player, but not worth the risk in terms of money and mentality.

He looked out of his depth against the English defense, and that was crap

So so so overated. Talented sure, but got a long way to go to compete with ronaldo/messi.... Or even come close to that level. So far he's only performed in a poor Brazilian league. He has got everything to prove still.

    Ronaldo will come home!

I wouldn't be that surprised if Ronaldo goes to the MLS after the World Cup.
