Leo, in your wisdom you forgot Brighton, West Ham & Palace :emoticon-0105-wink: who may or may not go above us in their remaining games. Have never been a betting man by nature but if I had have been perhaps I could also have had a flutter on Watford only picking up 2 points from our last nine games given the oppostion we have faced/ to face. Im sure I could have got decent odds against that happening. Until last night Newcastle were 4th in form guide in the last 6 EPL games league and at present getting a stray point at Spurs or United :emoticon-0113-sleep

Talking of Newcastle, what price for Benitez to take over the reigns at Watford??

I did not forget Brighton but ignored Palace and West Ham as they are likely to go above us so assumed the worst with them.
I think the odds of all those results comes to about 50,000 to 1. Good enough for me to assume we stay up.
My assumption for the stat analysis was we do NOT pick up a stray point. If we do even better

We plays Spurs just as they begin their annual implode, and Poch seems to have had enough of not being able to match those above in spending
Newcastle are safe so may not be up for a battle away from home and Mourinhos arrogance is such that he thinks he wont even need to put out a team against us and the week before the cup final as well
    We may surprise ourselves

Mourinho will put out a team of fringe players who will want to prove they're worth a place in the starting XI in the Cup Final...

Sad that it has come to this for a club such as ours... but the Pozzos are clearly ruthless....... and they got us up.. but I would love to have a half decent head coach who can form a half decent relationship with the fans for at leas a whole season again!

    We won't score 5 without Deeney. :)

So good point at Anfield for Stoke - but it means they too can now not catch us.
Only the third relegation spot is now still open.

Stoke fans probably wonder why their team hadn't put in such an solid show before....

Huddersfield 2-0 down and with Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal to come I fear for them.

Ah, that answers my ? on another thread. Hopefully after the next round of games we´ll be safe. Maybe even after a win against Spurs.

If Southampton and Swansea don't win next week we are safe as they play each other so both cannot win their last 2 games.

If Southampton win their next two games and lost to Swansea they would still be able to go above us on Goal Difference (depending on how many we conceed to Spuds & Manure), had been hoping for a draw for them against Muff yesterday

That is why I think if they don't win next week at Everton (and Swansea don't beat Bournemouth) we are ok.

Even if we lost to Newcastle (and tomorrow) a Swansea draw would leave them 4 points behind and a Southampton draw 5 behind.

    So come on Everton/Bournemouth!

    Not often we say that...

Anyway as I say Huddersfield have a nightmare run in so will do well to pick up more than a point or 3.

Lets hope its not down to Huddersfield/Arsenal & Manure/Watford last game of season as I do not think the nerves would stand it.

Relax. We can only go down if a mathematically ridiculous series of events happen. Look at Brighton and Huddersfield's last games.
