Lucky you dont. Why do fans take things out of context for their own ends.....The story going around the Liberty was De boer before he would commit wanted a minimum of £90m to rebuild the club which in his opinion needed and can be easily afforded..... De Boer is still the favorite atm if he and the club agree to the demands which is not over the top.....However Monk has upset the apple cart and is a fans favorite and we cant discount Martinez and a few others yet, They will have their own terms and conditions, So we will just have to wait and see........Monk has caused a massive row at Boro because it was him that guided Leon at his request to get him through his first ever game incharge and Monk was dismissed that now opens the door for a return to the club he loves......So until the board makes a decision on DeBoer and his demands then he remains the Favorite whatever the bookies say....
Sorry Fans...Every single fan i have talked too today say that Monk would be the ideal choice and his record as a legend with the swans is second to none....We are very lucky he is in contention....
Will you stop the Christmas drinking. You been talking to your invisible mates again!! Jack legend my arse!! He forgo that, when he stabbed Laudrup in the back.
Dai going against the majority again you cheeky little exabitionist you Monks history and should stay buried there
For all that Monk done at the club and the Legend service he gave then your very ungrateful towards him......Why ?
Never rated the guy just another shirt kisser that wasn't good enough to drop us like a bad habbit for a bigger money club, and the ML saga he was involved in before a season living on MLs coat tails before starting to demolish everything that was great and built on sound foundations here before he and worst jinx mawg and Co wrecked it all !
He was the best captain we have ever had and the best manager who out thought most managers with our style of play to end the season with the most points we have achieved.....What is not to like......He is one of the biggest Legends we have had at the club and if you dont rate someone like that then i dont know what warrants someone to become a legend of the club....
My take on Gary Monk is a mixture of everyones. At the level we were at when he played he was a good player and captain. As captain if he was concerned about the manager he had every right to voice his opinion to the chairman. When he was appointed as manager he had the difficult task, as I know from personal experience, of going from being one of the lads to being the manager. I think this is, wisely, why Leon has said he isn't ready yet. As a manager he did well in his first season but changed our style of play and results in the second season and the football became poor. The players weren't performing for him and this is why he was sacked. Do I want him back as manager? I am 60/40 against at the moment.
