    Norwich XI: Ruddy; Martin, Turner, R Bennett, Olsson, Johnson, Fer, Howson, Redmond, Pilkington, Hooper.

    SUBS: Nash (GK), Whittaker, Bassong, Hoolahan, Elmander, Becchio, Josh Murphy.

    Surprised to see Snodgrass miss out, presumably it's injury/tiredness after the internationals, Redmond on the right though will be good to see. Need Johnson to have a big game!

    Snodgrass not even on the bench? I guess he must be injured. But why no announcement? RvW still out with his toe. I am starting to get suspicious about what is going on at CR.

    Newcastle would have been putting additional thought into neutralizing his threat at set pieces in training - announcing any injury/rest would've been like accidentally dropping your cards face down on the table.

    His been timid I didn't get why he played it out for corner, not for the goal but the first Newcastle corner.

    Snoddy accidentally stood on RvW's toe yesterday at Colney. RvW kicked out with his good foot and Snoddy suffered a badly bruised shin. Redmond seized the opportunity to stamp on Snoddy's other foot, ruling him out of the game. <ok>
