    When? Weds, 13th December 2017
    What? 7:45 PM (GMT)
    Where? St. James' Park
    Why? Because football.
    Witch? Fat Sam.

Weds sees the Toffeemen rock up to SJP. Fresh from a morale-boosting and barely-deserved point in the scally derby, former manager Fat Sham brings his toffee to Mike's place.

Lascelles, Atsu and Dummett all pushing for a recall to the starting line up, though like the rest of them they'll be put into Rafa's Magic Hat and picked randomly. I presume our team selection discussion must be something like Countdown.

Raf - "I'll take two from the row of sh!t, please, Rachel, then 9 more from wherever you like"
Rachel Riley - "two from sh!t....that's Joselu and Perez...."

No point in attempting a "likely line-up" thanks to our lottery draw selection process. What would I go with?

4-3-3: Elliot; Mbemba, Lascelles, Clark, Dummett; Hayden, Merino, Shelvey; Aarons, Mitrovic, Atsu.

If we can keep Rooney, our nemesis, quiet we might actually win this one. They aren't going to be anywhere near as negative as they were against Liverpool this afternoon but we need to get after them and keep after them. 2-0 to us.

I take full responsibility for the loss against Leicester as I forgot to predict our usual 3-1 win.
When we beat Everton 3-1 I hope some festive forgiveness comes my way.

It's got 1-0 loss written allover it. Can imagine Clarke and Everton's whole back line just punting it back and forth to each other all match like a game of ****head tennis.

Not so sure. Everton have relieved a lot of pressure and are comfortable, but still look shapeless. Their defense is woefully slow. IF Rafa picks our best starting XI, and IF Gayle can keep the pressure up, I think we might click snd turn it around to get a much needed win.

If we work harder than the opposition then we will have a chance of points. That's the only way to make up for having inferior quality players.

Too many IFS and too many Sam Allardyce I'm afraid. Hope I'm wrong but It doesn't matter what we pick. We haven't shown enough prowess to beat a defence organised by the original twat in the fat.

I wonder if we can have a word beforehand, then at kick off both teams can just sit down for 90 minutes.

Big Sham would be creaming over the thoughts of no shots conceded all game. Sadly Perez would be subbed on in the dying minutes and score a screamer past Darlow with a back pass from the centre circle. We must protect against this eventuality.

Perez at last gets back on the goal trail and there's always someone who is going to be negative about it.

Just can't see anything other than a defeat if we continue in the same vein we have been recently. Everton are in the honeymoon period with Allerdyce and he will have them defensively organised. Our best chanceis nicking the odd goal winner via a set piece but hopefully we will have a few players back to boost the squad.

    I hope we go 4-3-3
    Elliot
    Mbemba
    Lacselles
    Lejuene
    Dummett
    Hayden
    Shelvey
    Merino
    Atsu
    Murphy
    Gayle

Darlow, Yedlin, Clark, Diame, Ritchie, Aarons, Mitro
