As of next season the TV rises to over £5B. Theres a stat today that is staggering

If all Premier League clubs let all their supporters in for FREE next season they wont see a drop in revenue based on this seasons figures.

Now how can teams justify charging supporters what they do?

    Absurd.

The clubs need to sort something out because its becoming a joke.

Edit; Mind if I post this on FoxesTalk?

My step son was brought up in north London and is an Arsenal season ticket holder. His season ticket costs in excess of £1300. He does get a cup match free though.

The costs of attending Premier League games is getting out of hand and for the average working family, is a tough ask.
When you see other European countries like Germany for example with such low charges. I recall seeing something about Bayern Munich's season ticket prices and although I don't recall the amount is was like 70% less of a top Premier League side. Ouch!

    Go for it

The claim is from the FSF (Football supporters federation)

I'd hate it if they were free, i struggle to get tickets as it is, and im a silver fox member!

If they were free hey'd be bought by people who have no real interest in football other than seeing the star players from other teams, lets face it, this is already happening, just on a smaller scale, or it would be bought by people who would sell them on.

No one is saying they should be free. Just they shouldnt be charging what they do. Tickets should be capped at £20 IMO

Clubs still make alot and the average fan can afford it

I'd like them to do a method of giving away free tickets for the last game of the season if you can prove that you have been to, say, 8 games.

Although they may not need the money, im happy paying if the money can be re-invested in bigger wages or transfer fees to compete at a higher level. Would feel good that your moneys going towards that side of the game rather than "running costs".
