Yh but Nunez is an attacking midfielder, he wont play there not with Howson around even tho Ramons been far better this season. Steve Howard was the striker we pulled away from. A 1yr deal had been agreed when his camp suddenly started demanding 2yrs. We've taken Forssell on trial.
Well he had a trial with West Ham and they didn't want him. Worse part of all this is if we are seeking a striker one can only assume Becchio is going to be out longer than we would all like.
But however long or not Becchio's out for Somma will still be injured and Paynter will still be crap.
Apparently Tamas Priskin is coming on loan from Ipswich. He's tall so could be the target man we need. He's not highly rated at Town but he'll do for a short term fix with Somma and Becchio out. He scored 15 goals in the season before he moved to Ipswich, so he could regain that form.
Grayon isn't going to change from 1 striker up front so when Becchio is back we will have McCormack, bringing in a loan signing suggests Becchio isn't coming back for a while.
we should go for Bedner at WBA much better than priskin... as for Howard i think he would have done a decent job...but as ever we seem to not want to pay.....
