Fulham are expanding their ground by 5k, god knows why but that would indicate they arent moving soon so that just leaves the scum. But that would dilute the profits of all the other things, hotel, gigs etc so it may be more beneficial to keep it for ourselves unless the other team want to be tenants and not share ownership.
That's interesting, had always thought the council due to the pressure of local residents had blocked all their plans. However it ends up the new ground needs to be near the Tube, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, West Ham are close and Fulham sort of. Brentford, Palace, Charlton are nowhere near the tube. Of course Orient is the exception that proves the rule but generally in London success goes along with vicinity to the Tube.
It was approved in the last month, they are building out over the thames. They have to do bogof offers now or tickets for £10 so their fans will get some right bargains in a bigger ground.
Surprised they got a permit to do that, maybe not with all the corruption that's around at the moment.
My mate who is a ST holder at Fulham (yup, there are a few) showed me the plans and i must say they looked very impressive.
Heard we are building opposite flyers drum so we can block the daylight into his front room. A blimp will be operational on match days to block sun light into his sky light
