just been reading on the SMB about the new south stand home end and most fans were saying how the atmosphere was like an away game and its came a good few years to late (should of happened when the north stand was extended) but atleast its happened finally. I unfortunately couldn't make the game yesterday but I did manage to catch it and it was so much better with the lower bowl full, the amount of times teams brought a couple hundred fans up and the amount of empty seats you could see on TV certainly took the gloss off everything, I certainly think the atmosphere will get better and better at the SoL now! I also noticed that when Stevie G won the coin toss he chose to shoot towards the Liverpool fans in the second half, I think we will see this on a number of occasions and over the next season or two we will lineup shooting towards the north stand in the first half rather than the second. It's just a shame on the south stand that we have the walkway around, it would be fantastic if the south stand was like our KOP and was just a one tier section, IF and its a big IF, IF the club ever decided to expand the south stand I would love it if they did make it a one tier stand, the atmosphere would be electric in the SoL and I think if safe standing does get approved then the south stand will be a safe standing stand IMO the aim should be to get an atmosphere like this, totally jealous of anyone that has been
