im not a fan of mass signings as it hasnt worked for bruce or pdc but i think that was more down to the choice of players. you also have to remember that they wont all be coming in a first teamers, we have most of the first team and just need 3-4 signings to improve the first team then maybe a few more vesitile players as back up to bolster the squad
i cant see short shelling out a fortune as its quite a while since we have splashed the cash. keane and bruce ****ed that out for us
i thought that in seasons gone by and he hasnt shelled out. i'm really hoping that this years cup exploits has wet his appetite for future glory and he's willing to put in the money to become a top team as we all know the guys at the top got there by spending cash and buying quality. i know he's not a mega rich oil barren but he must understand you get back what you put in and once you have a quality squad its not like you have to shell out fortunes every year to buy players
Bruce was only about 9 million in the red when he left, and had a lot of Keane's overpriced players to contend with, can't remember anyone complaining when we got Waghorn 3 million Whitehead 3.5. Million Henderson 16 million To name but a few under Bruce's watch.
It's a word ACS, and his little gang, repeat over and over again in the belief that repetition is humour ..... ...... like the 'warm glow' 'rep' ****e, pitiful for grown men tbh. It's just a word they picked up meaning whinge, something they're experts on
Survive !, we just got £80 m for staying up plus the 14th place finish money. We MUST win something next season or finish 5th we are twice the size of most clubs in the bottom half of the premier league, so I expect big things next season, we just survived again and that is the warning mr Short. Next thing is to get the south stand extended and show other players and clubs we mean business. Getting big pop stars here is good but now what about footballers ?
