As impressive as it would be, I don't believe it for 1 second.

I guess we are being used to make the prem clubs up their offer.

The way the article is worded will do nothing for our outside perception as having the biggest budgets and signing 20 new players to buy the title... Did Uwe Rosler write this?

Some old colleagues who are Brentford fans were saying that Rosler's comments stem from the bids we were making for their players. I guess they must have been sizable for League One clubs. Well, that was the impression given anyway.

He couldn't play for any Prem Clubs this season but could for us, perhaps a deal till next June? Putting himself in the shop window?

I think you may have hit the nail on the head here AllHell. I'd be against this. I would love to see Wylde at the Club, but not as a stepping stone. We've done that already this season with Ephraim. I'd rather stand or fall with our own permanet signings. If Jacko was injured it might be a different story but that's the only circumstance in which I'd want a temporary appointment. If it was to be a permanent on the other hand, I'd go up and drive the lad down myself (and collect some square sausage while I'm at it!)

I'd take him on an 18month contract. He'll re-sign when back in the Prem ;)

But if it was to this June, then no thanks. No more Michael Stewart's.

I'm not sure about this, do we really want to pay massive amounts on wages and hope nothing goes wrong? Do we really want to be in a similar position to Portsmouth? For me I wouldn't want us really paying more than £7,000 for players wages in the championship, it is a recipe for disaster

If the price is right I could see advantages for both sides. This is not a Stewart or Ephraim situation. They came to us to get match-fit. Wylde has been playing regularly and should be ready to go into the team and hold down a place until promotion, and hopefully the title, is won. We do need a left-winger, especially as none of Jackson, Green or Wagstaff are excelling at present.

But we would need to cut a good deal and there must be a lot of Championship and European sides who could afford more than us, and need him more, so I doubt if he will come.

Surprise surprise he's signed for Bolton. Sucks a bit I'm afraid.

Not surprised- they've chased him for a while.

By CP's comments, whilst he would have wanted him, he never moved for him.
