Sean O'Driscoll has said there is a possibility of signing somebody before tomorrows game. Has to be either Shorey or O'Connor doesn't it?

It's me Shiny - now official.

SOD had to after taking my advice (at last) dropping Kilkenny and Fonts, and bringing in Read,Williams and Bryan.
SOD already knew Marv was No1 in CM so I didn't need to explain why unlike a few on here.

    Victor.

PS - Shiny - Only joking but don't tell ROD.

whatever, however he doesn't want to upset the team, it is getting there, whenever he signs not important as it was...

also don't want to upset the apple cart (cider apples, as it is a good season) by saying "other than the Bournemouth game we have scored regularly"

We need a bit of experience to help our young lads along.

Strange that his deal is so short.

Has he still got it that is the question?

SoD obviously thinks so,so i go with it being a decent signing.

A good bit of cover me thinks. A bit of experience as well. saves using someone out of position if we get another injury.

Possibly play Cunningham wide left midfield if Joe Bryan's hamstring is not OK.

Cunningham could probably do a decent job in midfield, and it'd be quite good for him to see another left back in action while on the pitch.

Shorey is still a decent player, but I reckon his fitness will be why we've signed him on such a short deal. If he was match fit and there were no injury concerns I could see him doing pretty well all season for us.

I assume it is a short term contract with options to see how he fits in with the squad at the gate and so he can see if he can get game time to try and get a club in the championship

Will you be buying a new duvet cover now, because you have SoD on one side and JET on the other <laugh>

Nope I think he could be a decent signing as well <ok>

I think he is what we have been screaming out for since Louis began to get past his best, provided of course he can do himself justice (and still wants to).

If he performs for us then it could bring a 'Hunter Factor' to the team. He will educate Flint and Williams and accelerate their development by quite a bit, also the rest of the young team around him.
Its a good situation for Shorey as well, several fit and good young players to run around for him and supply the energy. I'm not surprised he signed
