The ref should carry those tyre stingers that the old bill use to incapacitate stolen cars. When a player goes down, the ref throws out a stinger either side of him, if he rolls around then he gets spiked. If he doesn't then he's genuinely injured and he doesn't get spiked. Sorted
"Was that 2 1/2 rolls or 3, it looked like 3 from here, the ref is being advised....he's going to VAR for a replay....he's checking..... IT'S A RED, NEYMAR IS OFF" I'd ****ing love that, he'd probably drown in his own tears.
Why do players roll anyway ffs I broke my leg once and I didnt do roly poly's along the floor. The only time you should roll like that is when you are on fire.
Just roll the ****er off the pitch? How often do teams play with 10 men because someone is receiving treatment during the game? It's only injury time...if he's injured that badly...he will be glad to roll off and the team have to cope for about 4 minutes tops...8 if at Old Trafford
And it worked out fine. We got rid of a bunch of ******s, and then centuries later they gave us Margot Robbie, Jim Jefferies and Crocodile Dundee! Everyone's a winner
If subs have not been made and it happens in injury time. It wouldn't make sense not to allow a replacement on the bench just because its past 90 minutes.
Sure it would For 90 minutes, you can use substitutions. Once it is passed 90 minutes, then you can no longer use them
Don't stop play for substitutions. Once the board goes up, then the player on the pitch can't be involved. He has to leave before the sub can come on. If he touches the ball or interferes with play, then it's a foul and a booking. Don't stop play for injuries, unless it's something that's obviously traumatic. Allow the physios to come on to deal with injuries and play on. If they deliberately interfere, then the club gets docked points.
went to Spurs v WBA last November. They scored in the 2nd minute and were time wasting from 5 minutes gone. That match would still be being played now
I think that rule is there to try and avoid inciting violence. If a player deliberately taunts opposition fans there’s always a chance it could all kick off.
One of my biggest bug bears is when a keeper time wastes all game and then the ref books them in the 83rd minute like its achieved something. Really ****ing aggravates me, stupid ****s.
True. When a player taunts you, you ****ing hate it. i.e Adebayor at Man City. But when it's your player taunting the oppo fans, Henry sliding in front Spurs fans, we ****ing love it. Would be a big shame to eliminate it entirely from the game.
In the spurs v West Brom match Ben Foster wasted so much time in was farcical. After 20 mins the ref warned him. About 5 mins latter he wrestled the ball off a ball boy to stop us taking a quick corner so the ref just spoke to him again...I said to my mate that he wouldn't book Foster until the 89th minute but I was mistaken...it was the 85th It is blatant cheating in my opinion but is allowed week in week out. I do not mind the ball being kept in the corner flag to waste time, or defensive goofball tactics cos as boring as these are to watch they are legit tactics but cheating ain't yet refs do nothing to stop it.
VDV got booked for cupping his hand to his ear at the gooners after scoring a penalty...stupid rule imo. Henry had every right to dish it out to Spurs fans and to be honest those reacting in the photos look kind of dickish...the gooners in the Adebayor game were a joke...chanting filth and then getting violent cos he gave it back...but all clubs have their dick fans... shame they get seats instead of proper fans imo
