Hi guys, So I have been reading these forums for years, all the way back when it was bbc606, then followed it here, just never registered before, but decided it was time to take the plunge and get involved! So is everyone as nervous/excited about the start of the season as I am? I remember feeling very confident going in to last season, and look how that turned out, so trying not to get too far ahead of myself! I would be very happy with a top 6 finish, but being a Leicester fan all these years has taught me to expect the worst, hope for the best
Welcome Jack always good to see new members Have you decided on your style yet - Can you take on the mighty Hull warriors?
Haha, you know, I've been thinking about joining for months and always wondered what sort of poster I would be... Figured I'd just join and see what happens!
Yes I am, blue through and through! Did anyone go to the Sunderland game yesterday? I live near Reading so really don't get to many games, occasionally I convince my mates to go on a weekend trip up to Leicester, but that only seems to work if it's my birthday or we are playing Real Madrid Lol!
Yes I went - We're looking good and Nigel's signings are a massive improvement - I'm trying to stop myself getting too optimistic like I was last season You must have been gutted when Reading went up - No visit from Leicester this season
Yeah, I found the post-match thread and just read that, seems like we played well and the new signings are doing good. I am the same, trying to stop myself getting too optimistic. I think it's a much harder league this season than last, as other people have said, there are so many teams who could potentially get promoted. That's what makes the championship what it is I suppose! I was gutted that Reading went up, not only because of that, but also because I live with a Reading fan, who constantly asked me how a certain centre back we signed last summer was getting on for us...
Welcome to the asylum... from the voice of reason.. just don't get confused...yes this is the leicester board and not the hull board ,I know its difficult to tell most of the time...
If it's a girl you should slip her a good length up the tradesmans entrance as punishment and if its a bloke you should slip him a goo...........Actually just chin him
Welcome mate Yesterday we looked like a team and if yesterday is anything to go by then we are in for a good season
Incase you didn't know about Charlie he is a big Leicester fan who comes on here pretending to be a Hull fan and he makes a prat of himself every time he posts
Surely there must be a village near hull that needs an idiot Charlie so you might be useful to someone?
