I know your board is still in the early stages of growth but I think it’s a good time to name a moderator and I’m pleased to say that Leonardo has agreed to take on the role.

The mod is not a policmans role but a peacekeeping one, self moderation is always the best way
forward.Enjoy your forum and good luck for the rest of the season.

I’m sure you will all help Leonardo in his role.

Given Leonardo's expert forensic skills, it seems to suit.

Congratulations on this momentous day, Leonardo. I will have a hot chocolate tonight dedicated to you.

Norway - I thought maybe you would be a better bet as you have the most posts here but as I am retired I guess I tend to look fairly frequently.

Ak has an awful lot on his plate already with the Nest and match Forums plus as English is not his native language he may struggle with some of the obscure swear words that Norwegians may post :)

Still think he should have at least been asked first , if that was the case and he declined then fair enough!, otherwise I stick to my minority opinion!
Also stand by my point of why do we need one ,on 606 if we had a muppet we chased them away collectively and sometimes it was even fun!

Well I wont be denying anyone that fun - seriously Norway, I have no power ambitions, and have no idea if Ak was asked - or indeed why I was - my first repsonse was to suggest that I was not clear why I would have been asked given my lack of PC skill but hey ho - if you can live with it so will I and I honestly doubt that I will be modding the kind of people we have here

But what if a fan from a club that did not like us came on using the kind of expletives that some find really offensive or making such nasty comments that our posters did not like - woud you not have someone able to delete a post that was generally accepted as offensive.

Let's just try it for now - I am sure if it does not work out the site will appoint a non Watford mod for us

    Well done Leon <applause>

Leon do not worry about Norwegian swearing, that is quite easy as íslensku and norsk are similar, about 1000 years different. It is the english swearing which could be difficult. The American's english is not hard as we have so many "freaking" films.

Maybe we will have a Watford internet team box in the new Lawrence Bassini Stand <laugh>

Thanks Ak - and I follow Norway's point and hope that you do not feel hurt at all by not being asked - or perhaps you were before me?

    <wah>

I am not upset. I could be a logical choice for some but the Nest is difficult and the match thread needs more working now as I had a way to work on the BBC and here is differnet and I am learning still how to work the site.

Frú Ak says I am on here enough so another job would be not good. Also I have returned home from my work today, starting at seven this morning and finishing at half seven with no lunch is eleven half hours then being lögreglan as well is much. The work hurs of today is not normal.

Norway - you are a perfect example of why this nest is so good - you make points honestly and without aggression - if we all agreed on everything this Nest would not be here

    ... and I love Pink Floyd too - :)

I haven't heard much from Nick at all of late. He loves to post for effect as far as I can make out, but we do have certain things in common that have produced some interesting chats for the two of us. Probably bored the pants off everyone else. He has certainly managed to upset one or two by going a bit over the top. Shame he hasn't found his way here yet, as I could get to know more about him off message.

I saw Pink Floyd once. I was in London with my brother and our girlfriend, they wanted to see Pink Floyd so I went as well. I got in with a ticket bought at the entrance and they had bought from a ticket agent so guess who paid the most? Back to the story, they liked Pink Floyd and I did not. Happy to say I went to see them but not again.
