You must have the patience of a saint m8 and I don't mean a St Mary's one.Your powers should be extended to banning repeat offenders.Deleting moronic comments as they crop up simply denies others to form an opinion of the offender if they log in after the comment is removed.Time to make an example. I have noticed certain spoilers are now towing the line since we have raised the subject though.
sheep would make a good mod, good shout, so would siam....time zone problem though.. i cant really win, people complain (myself included) that certain people are ruining threads, so i delete some comments, then you're accused of being power hungry, leave them and people think they can get away with it and carry on doing so...banning is a last resort but that would be a shame... i agree that you dont have to see some of the rubbish that gets deleted so leaving it up shows these people up for what they are, only problem is that they then think its ok, and the thread is ruined...

How about 3 strikes and you're out? Post a thread out lining the general rule, if a complaint or a mod deems something inappropriate they let the poster know (publicly or privately) on the first offensive post, a second warning if they persist, 3 offence busted and banned. A bit of a pain but there it is, enough warnings then they're gone. There's no perfect solution as level of tolerance is subjective but the line is there. Is there an appeal process should a poster feel hard done by?
Guys, can I point out that most threads are "ruined" only after a certain poster contributes......Wait, can you call it a contribution?.....Hmmmmm.....Adds a post maybe. Take this one for example. A thread that was going well and was serving its purpose....Until JH posted Jack alert, Jack alert. So, for me, it's him ruining your threads, not us. Just saying.

Think about it and make a fresh start.
yep thats a problem. they say they hate him etc, yet they for a reason only known to themselves refuse to put JH on their ignore list. if they do that then lets see what happens. a typical example of this would be JH or a jack posting one provocative comment, then i log on a a few hours later to see about 30-40 comments, mostly made up of them winding up each other....boring and repetitive..

Guys can i point out that the so called thread was put up and started for Cardiff member reply only and when a jack yet again tried to spoil the thread thats when i put up the ..jack alert ,jack alert message .....why did he message if it stated Cardiff only? ***ash your becoming obsessed with me a bit and a little bit worrying you being a mod on another board and always on the Cardiff board" advising" us what do do? . nah, they wouldnt understand how pathetic its become. i just logged onto the swansea board and apart from the odd comment by me, they can discuss their team without any cardiff fans wumming, whereas here its almost impossible for us to discuss cardiff city, which is what i'm here to do.... even this very thread i stated any swansea fans would be deleted apart from their mods, yet they still post

My vote goes from siam to John hughs , if he posts something terrible he can then warn himself to behave then threaten himself with being banned and when he finally hasn;t listened to his first 2 replys he can finally ban himself
