Having gone through the nominations I'm putting people who got four or more into the poll, that means: Bum Chinned Crab DJ Erik I saw the Premier League Tigers J-D Partyhull Stanistheman One City fan one vote, and they're public so we'll see if there's anything funny going on and discount votes. I'll have a look at the results late on Saturday night, if there's no standout leader I'll do a second poll with the top 2 or 3 (depending how many are roughly equal). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OLM also received enough nominations, but his position as mod is a seperate matter. I've not included the following regardless of count (I stopped counting when they ruled themselves out): Premiertiger - on the basis he said he wouldn't be able to mod as loosely as we do and the general consensus was for us to maintain the current levels. Manuel - starting teacher training - my sister has done it recently and I agree he won't have the time, he'll be lucky to have the time to come on here to post never mind modding NFU - said he didn't want to do it. Craig in Nottingham - ruled himself out due to immaturity (his words). Andy Payton's Mullet - ruled himself out due to infrequent use of the board
For the record (I know you can see anyway), I've gone for istplt. I don't think I've ever seen him getting modded, he's on the site a lot, and he's someone I quite often disagree with on the football side (although we did have us agreeing on transfer policy for the summer) so it fits my thing as a moderator about not wanting us all agreeing and being accused as a group of modding based on opinions rather than the rules.
I assume none of the above means me, so please take me off the list as I don't want to do it. I'll vote for whoever will share offensive deleted comments with me, I enjoy reading peoples vulgar rantings. In fact I usually find myself spending more time reading comments on YouTube than watching videos

Some good candidates in there but I've gone for ISTPLT. A frequent and sensible poster on the site. Though I'm sure whoever gets to be the new mod will make a good job of it.

I aren't voted til you have all done you American-style vote thingy(I've forgot the word) on the KC pitch on Saturday, on a plinth in the centre circle or stood on seats in front of the big screen.
Premier League Tigers gets my vote as he posts a lot and knows a lot about football and the Tigers even if I don't agree with him all the time.

This is a thread for the poll of the new mod. Clearly it's going to be ISTPLT, clearly we're already sorting it out between ourselves - in fact, nobody even asked for your opinion. I swear sometimes you just comment simply to add to your post count.

2nd at the minute. By crikey, I'm surprised at that. If I get in, I will rule this site with a rubber fist! (I do not own an iron one, best I can do I'm afraid). My campaign for moderation duties, of course, is dedicated to the memory of my now deceased, (and extremely charred) half-a-mannequin ex-soulmate Cindy. (I'm sure I mentioned her on here before...?) Discarded in a ditch somewhere on Kingswood no doubt. We shared good times, and she'd be so proud. Fiery little devil, especially at the end when she was LITERALLY on fire at house party, surrounded by laughing twats like me. Oh, if only we could've seen ourselves.... RIP Cinds, RIP.
