I am willing to stand down if other people are interested in experiencing the challenges of the Moderator role. Mine is the night shift only, occupying the period from 2am-8am UK time, but doesn't include a nightworking bonus. I can honestly say I have never had to do anything for one of three reasons: 1) posters on our board are so well-behaved 2) Obergruppenfuhrer ACS or resident nerd Nev sort everything out during their shifts 3) there is only me, Comm, and Fredor awake at that time. One is normally still pissed from the night before, another is suffering from senile dementia and judging by his posts, I think is responding to threads from 50years ago, and the third is hard at work. I will leave it to you to figure out which is which.
Why don't you get back to fighting with the Leicester fans on the PL board - was very amusing to see their take on life in Thailand.
Congrats Trev thoroughly well deserved appointment to add to your long list of honours. Certainly a vast improvement on that fat, lazy, useless Obi Wan-Kernobi. And the forum will be better off for it. Plus if we are going to have cheating and corruption on the forum then it makes perfect sense for it to be managed properly right at the very top so it can't be interfered with. Good luck mate.
