So what its about then? I hear people tell me that 4-4-2 does not fit in the Premier league. Judging by what we have now. I would like to see a 3-5-2 formation. Hypothetically speaking,

    -Kasper-

    3) -De laet- -Wes- -Schlupp-

    5) -Mahrez- -Drinkwater- -James- -Knockaert-

    (playing just behind strikeforce) -King-

    2) -Vardy- -Nugent-

Interesting to see If new signings will give us a indication as to Nigels plan

Great going forward or an early round Cup game but just a little thin on defense for me. This is the Premier League after all.

Next season will be very interesting ... not all of this season's 'favourites' will have the same impact next, and there will be some new arrivals pushing for automatic selection ... I'm expecting Liam Moore to put in a bold bid for a central defensive berth, irrespective of who else is there ...

Perhaps a little too attacking for the Premiership <yikes>

If we do play 3-5-2, we would have to play 3 CB's, and then De Laet and Schlupp as the wingbacks.

Hull played 3-5-2 this season, didn't they? For some of it at least...

Though judging by how we ended the season, I think we are far more likely to play a 4-2-3-1, which I would be pretty happy with also:

    Schmeichel
De Laet -- Moore -- Morgan -- Schlupp
    Drinkwater -- James
    Knockaert -- Nugent -- Mahrez
    Vardy

I like the look of that team, though I'd probably rather another midfielder in there in place of Nugent. He and Vardy may well alternate as the main striker. King could play that role.

Yeah, that could be one way. There's no way we'll play the back three Lesta4eva has selected because Schlupp and De Laet aren't that defensive minded. In that formation, you'd play wide-men instead of wing-backs, so it'd be Morgan, Moore and Wassa at the back. We could play with De Laet and Schlupp with five at the back, at the expensive of Knocky and Mahrez (with a flat midfield of King, Drinky and James).

Or we could try 4-4-2 and see which of our attacking players can cut it and which can't. Of course, this will all be irrelevant as soon as we start signing players anyway.
