most places arent usually open new years day , would have to be new years eve, and theres more chance of a mclean hat trick then the other halves of the people i go with giving them a pass out that night...

So far they have done nothing much to strenthen there squad. I still think there is a chance of Gus Poyet leaving IF the right club comes along. IF AVB is confirmed as the new Spurs manager what price Poyet going in there as his No.2 to dampen down the anger from fans ? Interesting next few weeks down south,, imo.

Why ? Mine wont be. 2 night at the seaside away from the outlaws and inlaws.. Perfect. Thank you, thank you.

Indeed or 2 in my case. My only fear is that SKY may well ruin it though. We all have to wait and see what chaos both Sky and the BBC bring to to the fixtures.

One other bit of Great news for Hull City is that Brightons COC 1st round game @ Swindon Town has been chosen by Sky for Live TV on tuesday 14th August. That leaves them just a 3 day turn around. Now for Hull City to bring the Rotherham game forward to the 11th to give us a full weeks grace. Come on. get that sorted out,, ffs.

Thankfully the missus is also a big City fan so yes i am lucky. I also made a pact with the <devil> (mother-in-law)back in the day. I told her that apart from Xmas Day any other day there is football gets priority. :1980_boogie_down:

Oh yes. Love your signature as well. <ok>

My missus claims she is a City fan, but would rather me go to war than go to away days...
And cheers! Totally agreeing with yours too mate!:emoticon-0148-yes:

my original point still stands, weekend in blackpool ruined..
unless your missus enjoys all day piss ups finishing in a strip club with negotiable extras, then its not a proper blackpool trip ;)

So true, there's always gonna be something that prevents it from being the typical Blackpool football and party night! However, should City win and I end up massively intoxicated, it's all good over here.

Well just for starters(war) you can plan trips / Away days @ Lesta - TWS - Millwall - Blackburn - Barnsley. <whistle> On a more serious note maybe you need to do some negotiating with the wife ? ;)

With a non-footballing wife i do see your point and sympathise with you. <wah> Then again does yours like Bingo ? Many all day bingo halls in Blackpool. promise her a fish n chip supper and that may just swing the deal..!!! ;) <whistle>

My fear is that Sky get there grubby mits on that fixture and change it to a Jan 2nd or something. <steam>

Its the wait now for the sky folks that has me sweating on arrangements.

NB. Tigers fixtures that have a (?) on them for now : -

    Derby Country @ home on Jan 26th 2013 **
    Charlton Atletic @ home on Feb 16b 2013 **
    Burnsley Away on March 9th 2013 **
Ipswich Town Away on April 13th 2013 **

These are the dates of the 4th - 5th - 6th(qtr) - 7th(semi) rounds of the FA Cup. Look you never know. :emoticon-0116-evilg

Try having a wife who hates football and a new born baby due in January - not a good combination for a pass out to the football!! <doh>

try adding an 11 month old, another due in November, living 100 miles away, running various businesses (and about to start another) and having to pass various exams by the end of the year. The second child will be the problem as everything else can/is being adapted to free time so this year is looking very difficult. Oh yer..and the wife wants to move house as well!

So what do you do in your spare time then ?

Maybe you need to change the wife ? What is it with women and common sense ?

Looks like I'm only going to making 7 home league games this year.

Brighton, Bolton, Huddersfield, Leicester, Leeds, Watford, Middlesbrough.

Although I might make the trek back for the Sheff Wednesday game on my birthday.

the spare time is spent on here awaiting news of new managers and players

as with the wife we have only been married a couple of years so it will be a while yet before I look for a new model

to be honest I think I might get to a couple of home games before child 2 is born and there are quite a few away games that are close so some of them will be graced with my presence

Was at a friends house last night and was looking at the Hull Daily Mail and saw the comment and the main game for hull fans is the home game against leeds wonder why maybe because we are still the biggest draw in the championship for clubs and there fans.

Anyone know when we play Leeds?? I need to book the week off work so that i can prepare, also my excitment of this fixture usually distracts me from doing my job properly!!

I can't believe we've not got a thread entirely devoted to discussing what may or may not happen when that amazing day comes
