With our away record this season we should keep it the same - it is excellent. In fact why not wear it at home as well? Then we will be invincible!
i have to admit, i don't bother buying a programme anymore...nor do i buy an away shirt (though i got given one the season before last )..i guess i'm the worst kind of fan...! lol
i go with a friend who buys a programme every week. (and always from the same seller, obviously )...but i don't see the point to be honest...
Programmes tend to be poor these days and don't tell you much you can't get on the internet before a game, I'd tend to buy our excellent independent fanzine The Square Ball instead which is allowed to have an opinion that doesn't tow Ken Bates/LUFC's party line. Plus it's 1/3 the price of a programme at ã1.
Yep, their motto is 'by the fans, for the fans'. It's an excellent little thing they've got going really, magazine every three weeks or so, podcast every fortnight and a decent blog on their site too (thesquareball.net). Always a funny and insightful read too and the amount of high-profile interviews they've got with people like Johnny Giles, Lucas Radebe and Howard Wilkinson is surprising. Be amazed if they don't win something from the FSF writers' awards this season too. Is there not something like that on sale at Vicarage Road?
Nothing on paper, but we have the rest with 'From the Rookery End' who do podcasts with fab interviews, and good blogs too. Perhaps the fan mag will be next!
