I was going to close this, but he honestly has a point about Crouch up front on his own and the lack of a holding player. He's still a pillock, obviously.
He didn't say anything about on his own. You're giving him too much credit. As for holding player, who could we play? Huddlestone's still not fully fit, Sandro's injured and Palacios is off to Stoke.
He's not really a holding midfielder, he's inexperienced but I'd agree that we probably could've benefitted with his workrate in midfield.
What about Kaboul? He's played there before and we had Bassong available to take his place in defence.
