Never Forget

They shall grow not old, as we who are left grow old. Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.

"we will remember them"

 

IF I should die, think only this of me;
That there's some corner of a foreign field
That is for ever England. There shall be
In that rich earth a richer dust concealed;
A dust whom England bore, shaped, made aware,
Gave, once, her flowers to love, her ways to roam,
A body of England's breathing English air,
Washed by the rivers, blest by suns of home.

A pulse in the eternal mind, no less 10
Gives somewhere back the thoughts by England given;
Her sights and sounds; dreams happy as her day;
And laughter, learnt of friends; and gentleness,
In hearts at peace, under an English heaven

We will remember them

 

They wont be forgotten and I'm hoping to see a lot of poppies being worn at the game today.

 

Lest We Forget.

 

Can we also remember those who came back severly wounded because I do.
Some lives were never the same again even though they survived.

 

All those that serve should be though of today. Any one of them might not make it back home one of these days.
