What sort of hell must he be going through no money to buy players no guarantee about his job before the start of the season, what the hell has he done to deserve what they are doing to him i am so angry & frustrated about the whole situation.
Like the rest of us he's quietly biding his time hoping the Mittals take over. If that doesn't happen, I think he'll do what he can until poor results or Briatore screw ups take him to the door. Contractually his bread seems pretty well buttered on that side, so Sir Neil will be fine and because everyone knows he's had his hands tied behind his back, his reputation will be equally fine. Question remains... what about the fans and who'll lead us out of this mess?
Brixton, it's obvious we will get Billy "there will be a lot of twists and turns before the end of the season, just you wait and see" Davis or some washed up Italian that never has set foot in England!!
Only God knows what is going on at QPR, I feel for Neil Warnock and would not be surprised if he left.
If (and when) Warnock does go, I bet he'll be thinking come next game the fans will sort Briatore... now was it they did they do to sort Mussolini in the end?!
It was the same kind of treatment dished out to Ollie by Paladini. Shameful carry on but in no way surprising.
Yeah on 40,000 a week he must be suicidal, just like me on 500 and no money in the kitty to fix the company van.
My thoughts exactly LIUTB, I wouldn't be losing any sleep over him! Still, for the sake of QPR, I hope he gets some backing.
I think Mussolini was bundled around amongst the townsfolk first Roller... but yep, something like that for Briatore, before ending up nose down in the Ellerslie Rd bogs with 15,000 signatures scrawled across his ample backside!!
yeah definately suicidal me thinks...earning a fortune and in the top flight... also, members of the board have confirmed his position is safe prior to the start of the season, have they not?
It's a distinct possibility on present facts, that we lose Tarbs and Routledge, sign no one of substance before Aug 13, fight manfully against Bolton, Everton and Wigan, and pick up perhaps one point. We lose to Newcastle, Wolves and Villa, and sometime around the Newcastle game, NW gets his marching orders with a good cheque, and we're back where we were in 2009/10 with the Goons in day to day control, but the team facing considerably stiffer opposition. I will support the team throughout -I do not wish this scenario on our boys - but as I say, because of where we are at the moment, it's a distinct possibility...
Its not always about money if it was im sure he could of hung around for a better deal with a bigger club, he saw what quality we had at the club plus added a few additions & this is where we are today. If NW ever thought that tango would be ruling the roost again i dont think he would have come to the club.
I'm now wishing that the FA had removed Briatore a couple of years ago as ' An Unfit ( no metaphor intended ) and an improper person to run a football league club,' after his F1 shenanigans. I wonder where we would be now? Surely no worse off.
The Fit & Proper Persons rule is an absolute joke, short of being a mass-murderer there's no chance of it ever being used as the FA would then face being challenged by the person banned who would, quite rightly, point out all the other shysters who are still in the game...
