Please can someone from the QPR board call a press conference and confirm that Neil Warnock is to remain as manager of Queens Park Rangers and end all these fecking rumours
Amit Bhattia has already said this, but the tabloids never let facts get in the way of a juicy non-story.
Dens, I am not concerned as how could anyone remotely consider replacing a manager that turned things around in such a short period of time. Warnock is a legend for returning us to the Premiership after 15 years.
Winston Churchill said " the truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but there it is". Wise man our Winny
"Warnock's odds to be next west ham manager were 10-1 this morning now as short as 7-4 with sky bet, oddschecker have the bet as one of the most popular today. Whatever we think there is something not right at the moment and the vote of confidence has not come officially from our majority shareholder." http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/west-ham-specials/next-permanent-manager
It sounds as though Bernie's looking round for the best price for his 60% shareholding. Until that's settled, everything is up in the air including Warnock's future and player purchases.
Northolt, the odds will primarily be driven by people placing bets and the bookies reducing their liability. Neil doesn't need another statement from the board....
This wont go away until West Ham appoint there new manager the longer it takes the longer this bull will keep appearing
NEIL Warnock's job at QPR is safe, the Chronicle understands. http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/lo...il-warnock-staying-put-at-qpr-82029-28726105/ Reports this week suggested the Rangers boss was facing the axe, with Bernie Ecclestone poised to sell his 62 per cent share in the club. Former Chelsea chief Claudio Ranieri and Marcello Lippi have been linked with the role, although the latter has distanced himself with the post. But your favourite local paper has been told Warnock's position at Loftus Road is safe after leading the club to the Championship title in his first full season in charge. Meanwhile, former QPR boss Paulo Sousa has been confirmed as the new manager of Hungarian champions Videoton. Reply With Quote
