Come from nowhere to be 4 the fav to be our next manager.

It would be a typical appointment for us, a divisive character when we need someone to bring everyone together.

Another one who you would have to ask why on Earth would he give up Champion's League football to come to us, a team that has no chance of it in the next decade? He was being quoted as favourite for the Norwich job as well which is just as unlikely for the same reasons. More likely to go to Newcastle if he did come south of the border...

He's in a league that you or I could win. A league where an average champ midfielder can score 25 goals.
Finishing bottom in the cl and getting no cups is a failure for him. Top players for them leave to go to the likes or Norwich or saints, they see it as a step up, why wouldn't a manager?

It was interesting that he was on MOTD2, maybe trying to raise his profile down here.

He may also be sick of the abuse he gets from Rangers fans, which is not restricted to verbal.

I still think he'll be ideal for Newcastle, a big club in a similar way to Celtic and with Pardew seemingly on the brink a more likely scenario...

    Don't like him......don't want him.

Although, having said that, he actually sounded like he knew what he was talking about on tactics on MOTD2.

I honestly can't stand the whining, miserable c***.
Would hate to have him as our next manager but being the fickle football fan that most of us are.....I'll be singing his name in adulation if he brings us success

Wouldn't mind Lennon as manager. Seems intelligent and has shown mental strength to put up with all the sectarian bullshit down the years. Was very good on MOTD the other night and if Alan Shearer once tried to kick him the head he has to have been doing something right.

One from Lennon, Chris Powell or Hughton would be fine in my book.

Hoops to Hoops... Has to happen.

Not unfeasible that we end up with Pardew.
