    He probably started out, as a footballer, a quite mild unassuming guy but being the center of attention politically has made him angry. The geezer is entitled to his opinion on the future of Ireland and shouldn't be victimised because of it. Freedom of speech, political beliefs, religion and sexuality is the cornerstone of our Britishness.

    I always hated him when he played down here. Dirty, snappy, snidey gobby little ****e with a chip the size of China on his shoulder who embodied everything that was bad about Leicester. Looking back that was some scummy, ****y awful team.

    But even if he isn't he is entitled to his view on Ireland's future so i don't really see what the poster who pulled you up on it was getting at to be honest
