FFS lets have some positivity on here. What a bunch of moaning minnies.

    Most beautiful town/city/village/hamlet in Britain?

Bath for me. Closely followed by Pitlochry.

I like Bath. My Wife comes from there, so I visit regularly. Unfortunately, I have some total ****wits for in-laws so that takes the shine off a bit.

I love going to Bute. Living in the south east, you are surrounded by light and noise pollution and all the rest that goes with it all the time. It's just nice to get away from that and being on an island it seems a world away.

i don't remember Bath, though i went there as a kid. I love the cornish coastline, and the lake district...but a lot of the UK countryside is beautiful when the sun is shining :)

Aberystwyth is a hole. Full of scroungers, asylum seekers and students. Aberaeron just down the coast is lovely though.

Bray is down below Dublin Stereo and Belfast is a decent spot. I have travelled through a few places in Airshyre that look like the aftermath of a nuclear attack coupled with an alien invasion.

Again, it's the only place in Wales I've been to (I think!)

Had friends at uni there and had a couple of mad weekends.

Bath is not only pretty to look at, it's also full of right posh tarts, you can't beat a well-groomed posh bit of stuff.
Oxford, Cambridge, Nice bits of London - all good.

The Uni is up on the hil and away from the town which is, honestly, ****. Really nice area though, another Aber, Aberdovey, is nearby and very nice indeed!

If I had to pick somewhere to live it would have to be the Lakes, Keswick probably, but I like Betws-y-Coed in North Wales, Abersoch in North Wales, St Davids in West Wales, Robin Hoods Bay in North Yorkshire, The Trough of Bowland, Ross on Wye and where I am working right now, Castle Cary in Somerset. Bath and York are stunners.

Give me a good edgy city over any postcard perfect place any time. You would be bored after a fortnight. I liked Manchester.
