Chief will clock up 200 appearances tomorrow. That's pretty good for a player people have bemoaned and berated almost constantly. He's clearly a good egg and a better player than given credit for. Been here through years of ups and downs and never complained once. Good on ya Ned.
I admit that I like Ned. Congratulations on the "double century"! I hope that he gets a good reception, plays a great defensive game, and knocks in one of his headers from a corner.
Yes, correct but that's only this century. You said 25 years, so maybe Bardsley and Barker too but can't remember when they stopped playing for us.

And Macca, he left in 1997 having made 476 appearances. Maddix played for us on 307 occasions before leaving in 2001 which was the season when we dropped into the third tier.

He had half of one yesterday too...but Scowen just got there with a foot to divert it to safety... Really do not know why it happens...Neds mistakes are pure "brain f##ts" as 999s puts it.... When other defenders make mistakes they are due to poor technique or lack of forethought....Ned never makes those sort of mistakes....it is really odd
He reminds me of a rather large lorry or a large coach full of tourists trying to back up and he can't see very well behind him with no side mirrors, it's as if he needs someone to be whistling or making a beeping noise as he backs up But congrats Ned, you're almost one of our legends! Help get us this season and you will be one!
