Tweet I sent to M Bailey after the match and post match circuit by the players...or some of them! So why no mention of the guy, despite being suspended for this game? Where TF was he??
Sounds like he's pushing for a Rangers move. We would have to take such a massive loss on him. Surely Rangers couldn't afford more than a couple of Mil for him?!
That's the huge problem. Unlike when Brady left, he had several suitors so NCFC called the shots money-wise. Naismith won't have anyone else interested so Rangers can virtually make a McNally style, derisory offer and we'd accept it
It would just be all about getting him off the wage bill, and forgetting the Transfer money if it happens.
Just to add my two penn'orth, Alan Irvine is on record as saying he doesn't want the job of head coach and he's been in football long enough to know that nothing re backroom staff can be decided until we have a head coach! It's not rocket science for Christ's sake, nor is it disrespectful or scandalous!
Yes, but Dorrans got 'injured' when he went to stop a Reading player getting the ball to take a quick free kick in the away game before Xmas!!!! And then Thompson got injured as well.
And there is the big problem, and why everyone is being messed around and left in the dark. Which is disrespectful.
He has now had about an hour and a half, for goodness sake take a breath and give him a chance. It most certainly is NOT disrespectful, that would be approaching a HC before end of season!
AN wasn't sacked an hour and a half ago Dave. It wouldn't have been disrespectful to appoint a HC before the end of the season, because AI keeps saying he doesn't want the job and wants to know whats going on. He said it from the first match he had to take over.
Fair comment FML, but SW has clearly stated that the HC would be appointed after the end of the season - so let's ALL just be patient.
Thanks JM, I thought it was just me! Not having a go FML, perhaps you didn't see SW's interview when he clearly statednothing would happen before season's end!
Yes, it must be worrying times for AI and the backroom staff, but I'm not sure I would class it as being disrespectful. Sorry FML, I'm not having a go at you either.
I didn't see him quoted as saying that. How long ago was that interview? I know AI was saying about how he was in the dark and didn't want the job for a lot of pre and post match interviews. Felt sorry for the lad. Not having a go Dave, and JM.
Have a look at these player ratings. No-one scored less than 7 and Wes got 10 http://readnorwich.com/2017/05/07/norwich-4-0-qpr-rating-the-canaries/?index=12
Stick by what I've said all along that it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Irvine was appointed HC after the club has "scoured Europe". I believe AI said that he "wouldn't apply" rather than he didn't want the job but I may be wrong. In any event it matters not a jot what he said IMO, he would take the job if it were offered to him and I like many others would sink into depression
When I've seen the ratings given by PD, I'll give mine. Several of those were VERY generous to say the least!!! Please FML - NO thanks to any more years for Wes, as we MUST look to the future .....
