I see both Wigan and Watford (again) are sniffing around this lad and as Nige is probably looking around the loan market does anyone feel that he would be an incredible addition? I was impressed by his performances both games last year against us and although we have the numbers in the middle now I think he would fit in well and provide something we have been lacking for a while! As a youngster I reckon he would work his socks off to impress both southgate and chelsea too.

Would love to get this kid on loan, but I feel that he would choose Watford, and then Wigan, over us.

He looks a class act. I dont think he is mature enough to play centre half yet but he would be class as a holding midfielder

Bear in mind we've just signed someoen who plays in his position.

Would be a good player, but we're all covered in that area.

If Nigel wants a new player I would go after another centre half as Sean St. Ledger is always injured, Zak Whitbread is crap, Wes Morgan is just Wes Morgan, the jury is still out on Ignasi Miquel and that leaves Liam Moore who has been superb since the start of the season

Aslong as Vardy doesnt decline as the season goes on like he did last season I dont think we need much more at this moment. We will be in an alot better position to judge in January

Whitbread isn't crap as evidenced by his performances this season - is very injury prone which isn't his fault.

The only reason people are still on his back is because the fall guy last season - Vardy - has come good, I wonder who will be the next guy you'll jump over when you realise Whitbread is at the very least half decent...

I'd agree with your summary BF - posted a few times that I have been surprisingly impressed with Whitbread - he rarely fails to find a team mate with his passing and has looked solid defensively ..

I'd love to get Chalobah but guess that depends on our 'relationship' with Chelsea - different managers seem to forge different loan relationships - we had a pretty good one with Man United when Sir AF was boss - don't think Nigel will have a better one with Chelsea than Zola but here's hoping ...

It'll be interesting to see if we'll continue that relationship with Moyes.

I imagine SAF will have told him all he knows, but I think Moyes will try and keep hold of everyone that might have a sniff (League Cup games and the like) just to see them play first.
