http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,11670_6976928,00.html I really think he will come to United. I belive he is a great player for around 15m, can play cm and on the wings, and he has not reached his peak yet Thoughts?
At the end of the day our weak spot last season was midfield and with scholes and hargreaves gone we neeed midfielders more than ever; he could end up a decent edition to the squad but hes not naturally a CM and looks better playng in a more free role i.e. rooneys current role so he could be a good buy but by no means is he an answer to the problem we have
Knowing Arsenal I dont see them allowing this and for sure not for 15m. No player can replace our little ginger pele but Nasri is a good player and maybe with a pitbull type cm player playing beside him in the middle of the park he would suit us etc.
The man has undoubtedly got talent. I personally will be glad to see him leave the EPL, his play acting has ruined his reputation and he should be playing in Spain where this is acceptable behaviour.
Out of Nasri or Sneijder, one has already (somewhat) proven himself in this league and would be (have no idea why) be almost half the price. I don't see why we couldn't play either of them in 4-4-2, especially if Carrick is playing alongside one of them.
Reports are that he could go for as little as £8 million. Cannot personally see that happening but lets hope!!
Surely it all depends on Arsenal. It seems like we have a geniune interest and Nasri isn't exactly doing everything he can to stay at Arsenal and I think he would be a good signing, especially for £15m. But, if Arsenal do show some ambition this summer and get quite a few players in, I also think Nasri could be tempted to sign a new contract. Apart from that, what else can Arsenal do? They aren't going to risk letting him go on a free in a years time and even for £15m it would be a profit for Arsenal wouldn't it?
Would be a very good bit of business if it were to happen but it all seems like a contract negotiation tactic, probably his agent knowing Fabregas is likely to leave will have told his player to cause a bit of fuss in order to get a significant pay rise.
Yeah for as little as £8 million he would be a great addition. Plus we'd all get to see this more! please log in to view this image
8 million? Contract situation must be bad. Unfortunately if the asking price is that low, foreign teams will come in and arsenal will sell to ABU
Not if the lad refuses and forces a deal through to Utd. Remember next year he'll walk away for nothing. Apparently he wants to stay in England.
im just thinking what we'd have to play rather than anyone else. wenger wouldnt sell to us for less than 15 million IMO.bitter old git.
I have to agreed with this. It seems to be the most recent trend with players. Plus if he did sign for United he have to get rid of that snood straight away !!
I doubt it aswell, unless nasri really wants to come here, which i doubt. I also don't think he is what we need, but more of a luxury signing for 8 mil if we could get him.
